Dionne Hill is the Owner and Designer of Bel-Fom Designs, featured in 2007 Chicago Fashion Week . Believing in the concept of ‘Supply & Demand', Dionne is a proud “Pear' shaped woman. She has lived the nightmare of shopping for clothes and not finding a suitable fit for her body structure. She knows the demand of women, like herself, who want Ready-To-Wear clothing to fit their body form. The ‘Pear' shaped woman, having a considerably small waistline in comparison to her curvaceous hips, buttock and thighs does not easily fit into the current sizing charts of Regular, Petite nor Plus. Dionne has devised a patent pending design to accommodate these women. She has affectionately named Be'l (Beautiful) Fo'm (Shape). Bel-Fom Designs is the supply to this overlooked market's demand.

After receiving a BA in English from DePaul University, Sarah Katherine Green is pursuing her passion for clothing and style in Harper College's Fashion Design program. She is interested in design as well as fashion illustration. Her aesthetic is bold, theatrical--yet polished--daytime looks influenced by historical fashion and folk costumes. She is hoping to work with a Chicago designer to learn about the industry, and eventually would like to work for (or create!) a fashion brand with a social and ecological conscience, in regard to materials and production practices. This is an exciting time for fashion in our city, and she is so happy to be taking part in it!
